Repeating and 6 ways to wear a cobalt blazer

Blazer- Forever 21   option   option

shoes- Belk  option   option
necklace- gift  option

I've worn cobalt, black and white before, so I'm pretty much repeating an outfit here, just different blouse and shoes. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This works for me, so why change it? Sometimes I just need to get dressed and not reinvent the wheel with each outfit.

Last year I shared 6 ways to wear a cobalt blazer.  Apparently this item is a favorite of mine. Here are 6 more ways to wear a cobalt blazer.

And I almost forgot, you can throw it on over a white dress:

or wear it this way

whew! That's 8 more ways total.

Hope you had a great weekend and have a great week ahead.

Summer brights and favorites

Blouse- TJMaxx (old)  option   option
jeans- Loft
wedges Old Navy-old  option  option
necklace- JCPenney  option
headwrap- Ulta
worn June 7, 2015

Every now and them I break out of a rut and try something different. Like this headwrap/ headband. I love the look on others but I'm never quite sure of myself when I wear one. But one thing I'm sure of is white jeans. Every outfit combination I think of lately involves white jeans or white trousers for work. I've had to keep myself in check to keep from wearing them over and over.

White pants

Blazer- Cato option
blouse- JCrew factory
pants- Loft (sold out)  option option
shoes- Payless option
earrings- Target option
Worn July 24, 2014

After a two to three year search, I found a pair of white pants and I have put them to good use this summer. They have been in frequent rotation. I paired them here with the JCrew Factory cutaway top in emerald pool. I had the shirt on my wish list for a long time and finally purchased it during a sale last month. I added a blazer for the office because my work environment is very conservative and I was afraid some might frown on the back.

Here are three other ways I've worn my white pants:  1 23

Pink and yellow

Blazer- thrifted option option
blouse- Loft option
belt- Target option
shoes- TJMaxx option
Worn July 1, 2014

I'm a little obsessed with pink and yellow this summer. Just scroll though my pinterest board. I think this particular outfit pin inspired this outfit.  I really liked this one and felt good in it all day. So why is it when you create great outfit, the pictures turn out like crap? I promise these photos don't do this justice. You can barely tell but the blouse is a light lemon yellow. I loved it with the pink blazer and belt.

Spring/summer tweed

jacket- Macy's
shirt- Sears option option
pants- Loft
shoes- Banana Republic option
purse- Kenneth Cole Reaction option option
Worn May 31, 2014

I picked up this jacket for less than $25 on clearance at Macy's last month. A perfect addition for spring and summer. As much as I like green, I really don't have much of it in my closet, so this piece is a good addition for that reason also. It has little silver threads in it so I was prompted to pair it with my silver pumps. I also played up the black and white.

Black, white and cobalt

Blazer- Forever21 option option
blouse- TJMaxx option option option
pants- Loft
shoes- Payless option
necklace/earrings- Target option option
worn May 15, 2014

Finally- a pair of white pants. For the past two to three years, I have tried on numerous pairs of white pants. It's one of those items that has to fit just right and can't be too thin. I got serious about finding a pair of white pants this year because I keep pinning outfits with white bottoms. I tried out pairs from Gap, Limited and Loft. Just like with the boyfriend jeans and the white jeans, Loft won! The pants I tried from each retailer passed the test on not being "see through" but the fit was not right from Gap or Limited.

This first debut of the white pants was inspired by a display I saw at Macy's. Sometimes a shopping trip is a success without a purchase. The displays can be sources of outfit inspiration. I saw a black/white graphic top paired with cobalt and instantly thought of this blouse in my closet. To kick it up, I added the striped pumps.
