This is my favorite way of wearing my white sleeveless blazer/vest so far. It's much closer to the outfits I pinned when I was inspired to purchase this piece. I've tried to style it for work before and haven't been quite happy with it. However, it seems to be the perfect piece to add a little edge to a casual outfit.

Lots of color

necklace- JCPenney  option
tote-   Old Navy     option   option
watch- Fossil  option
bracelet- Forever 21  option

I have been wanting to wear this blouse with this skirt ever since I bought the blouse, but somehow keep overlooking it. It's also been a weird time at work where skirts just wouldn't be appropriate so it's been a while since I've worn a skirt for work. The opportunity finally presented itself last week, so I took it. Lot of color going on here, and speaking of color, how cute are these shoes? Could you pull off a color blocked pump?

Since I have so much color and a bold print going on, I kept the accessories simple- gold tassel necklace and a thin arrow bracelet.

I purchased this blouse last year at TJMaxx and it became part of my spring wardrobe capsule. I wore it a couple of ways, to include wearing it with these pants and shoes and a mint blazer. It was pretty much the same outfit, just a different blazer. One piece can make such a difference. I received compliments on this all day long on this outfit. I don't remember anyone noticing last year.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a peek of this last Monday. It was my work outfit last Monday but it's just now making it to the blog. I've worn this blazer with black and white before (here also) but decided to go with black on black this time. There is a subtle bit of print and texture mixing going on here.

Hope you have a great week.

Tunic dress

Dress- old  option
shoes- Nine West via Amazon  option  option  option
necklace- Poshmark  option  option
earrings- Tuesday Morning  option

This dress is for those "I don't know what to wear, I don't feel like dressing days." You just throw it on and go. Yet, with just a few accessory and shoe changes it becomes a new outfit each time. This time I played off the fuschia in it.

Happy Friday and Happy Mother's Day on Sunday to all the mother's out there.

I wore this outfit last weekend to a cute "Mommy and me" photo session we did. It gave me flexibility to move around to take photos but still look somewhat put together. I did not own any sneakers for years, other than the ones I run in, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this pair of slip ons. Now that regular sneakers are becoming accepted as fashionable I may have to invest in another pair for wear other than running. Any suggestions?

Today is my Friday and beginning Friday and through the weekend we've got lots of plans. It's going to be  a busy weekend so I'll keep this short and get moving.
