I've worn this skirt many times, but I was inspired by this ad to create a little  more casual look with it. (The dress in the ad is still available in a few sizes.) As much as I love new clothes, I love finding new ways to wear old pieces.  Hope you are having a great week. Last week and this one have been crazy busy at work, but hey, we are half way through this one!

This outfit is very similar to this one. It's the same two base pieces- navy blazer and camel pants. However, the shoes, blouse and accessories are different. I used an oxblood top and mustard bag to bring in more fall colors. I went with leopard flats. Leopard really goes with anything but I love it with fall colors best. Speaking of the flats- I have a love/hate relationship with flats. If they are dressy enough for work, then they usually don't look right with casual clothes. On the other hand, if like these, they work with casual, then they don't work with business attire. These ballet flats are a little more interesting than some, but after seeing these photos, I don't think they work with this outfit.

Anyone have any suggestions on a flat shoe that is more versatile?

Fall favorites- boyfriend jeans and shades of orange. This was a perfect weekend outfit. This sweater is soft and cozy, yet lightweight- perfect for our form of fall.

I've added a little more fringe to my wardrobe in the form of a crossbody bag. While I love all the fringe heels and booties out there, I'm afraid I won't love them forever so I'm sticking to small amounts of fringe now. I already own a poncho with fringe too so I'm not totally out of the loop.

I'm also loving this necklace. I'm petite with a short torso, so long necklaces (anything past 28 inches) tend to be too long for me. This one is the perfect length and goes with casual and work outfits.

And one more thing- The sweater has a zipper all the way down the back. Business in the front, party in the back! It's another one of my favorite details of this outfit.

Hope you're enjoying a day off!

Two posts in one day? Well it is a holiday weekend, one made for relaxing so I'm taking a little more time for the blog today. And I couldn't let summer pass by without sharing this outfit. Seersucker is synonymous with summer for me. By the time I finish my 30x30 challenge that I'm starting tomorrow, most of you will be well into fall attire so I had to share this now.

Have you been shopping the Labor Day sales? I took advantage of some to add some graphic tees to my closet. I added this one about a month or so ago and I've had my eye on a few more.

If you are shopping the Labor Day sales, remember to join Ebates first. Then you'll earn some cash back from all those purchases and save even more.
