Orange skirt take two (and a little deviation)

Okay, I admit it - I cheated a little on my 30x30. These shoes aren't part of my 30x30 choices. I could have just taken photos with the leopard pumps on and you would not have known any better, but I'm being real and honest and posting exactly what I wore. Whenever I wear bright colors or two sharp contrasting colors, I like to keep the shoes neutral with nude. And I'm tired of rotating out the two pairs of heels. One thing I 've learned from this 30x30 challenge is that I don't like being limited on shoes. Shoes are accessories for me.

Dressed up cargos

Top- JCPenney option  option
shorts- Wal-mart  option  option
shoes- Payless  option  option
earrings- gift option  option
bracelet- Lulus option
clutch- thrifted  option  option  option

Something about this outfit reminds me of what you would see on the JCrew website- cargos with a dressier top. Maybe I've been perusing their site too much. As you can see the shorts definitely aren't JCrew- they're from Wal-mart, lol. But they work for me since  I don't get to wear shorts much.

Just ten more days to follow of the 30x30 remix. I'm excited to move on with my wardrobe afterwards.

Red on repeat- 19 of 30

Blazer- Belks  option  option  option
shirt- Macys  option  option
skirt- Dorothy Perkins  option  option
necklace- gift  option  option
bracelet- Target  option  option
purse- JCPenney  option  option
shoes- DSW option  option   option

Something had to be repeated this week, so it's the red blazer. Otherwise, it would have been one of the tops. I'm far enough into this 30x30 that at least one or two items will be repeated in a week. I don't mind something like black bottoms, but repeating tops in a week still bugs me. Anyway, I still really like this outfit. It has stripes, a midi skirt and leopard! Why wouldn't I like it?

Camel, leopard and cobalt

Sweater - thrifted option  option
pants- Limited  option
 shoes- DSW option  option  option
purse- gift (Belks)  option
necklace -Belks option
bracelet- made by me

Sick of cobalt yet? Not me. Once my 30x30 challenge is over, I've got other cobalt pieces to wear. Today I'm pairing the sweater with the camel pants. This combo (top, pants, necklace, shoes) is totally new. I've never worn these pieces together before and may not have if I had not done this challenge for myself.

This is the halfway mark of my 30x30.  I'll admit I'm getting a little bored because I'm thinking  "I just wore these pieces last week."  However, I am still enjoying the ease of walking into the closet in the mornings knowing exactly what I'm wearing. And I'm entertained at the number of outfits I've been able to come up with- more than 30. I'll probably do a post on the "bonus" outfits sometime after this is over.

I pulled in just a little leopard this time with the belt.
