I had this leopard and orange combo in my head all last fall but never got around to wearing it. So I threw the orange skirt in the 30x30 mix as a wild card and so I could wear this outfit. The leopard shirt is a great piece to have in the mix because leopard is a great neutral and pairs with almost anything. Leopard can be worn year round but I'm more drawn to it in the fall.

 

I wore the skirt to church and for the rest of the day I wore the blouse with white jeans and the bow flats. I love a versatile piece of clothing.

I dressed in this outfit for a family birthday party. The husband says "Do I have to dress up?" Me: Is this dressed up? Husband: "Yes".

 

What do you think? I think it's a fun mix of casual and dress but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding or reception, so it's not my version of dressed up.

I love midi skirts and I have not worn mine nearly enough since purchasing them in the spring. I'm carrying this one into fall with some earth tones in the top and accessories. And I'm wearing this for my second day of training- it's the only two times per year I can wear sandals to work! The last time I wore it with heels, but with sandals it's a little more casual.

I'm in training today for work and we get to dress in business casual. I threw the cardigan in my 30x30 mix just for this because training/conference rooms tend to get cold. If I'm warm in other locations, I can take it off and the blouse has a little flutter sleeve. I suppose I could take this whole outfit back up to full business attire with heels, but I think the flats give it a casual vibe.

Happy Wednesday! With a holiday it's a short work week, and half-way done! Today's outfit is #3 of my 30X30 remix. I've paired a bird print top with burgundy slim ankle pants and booties. I've seen lots of blush and burgundy for fall, so I'm set with purchases from last year. I didn't wear the top much last year so I'm remedying that during my 30X30. This is not the typical outfit I'd wear to my conservative office, so I'll probaby throw the black blazer on with this today too.

For back to work after the holiday, I chose to pair the cobalt sweater with grey pants and  a scarf. This is #2 of 30 (see my 30 pieces here).I'm hoping I don't melt today. At least I have short sleeves and I've loosely tied the scarf so it isn't really adding any bulk around my neck. I love cobalt and I'm excited to see it is still going strong into this fall.
