Leopard blouse- 2 ways

Blazer- thrifted option option
blouse- Calvin Klein via Ross option option
skirt- JCPenney
shoes- Ann Klein/Belks
worn April 7, 2014

I was inspired by Mix and Match Fashion and The Style Files to pair my hot pink blazer with a leopard blouse and black pencil skirt. I really like how leopard and hot pink work together. Please excuse the photos- it was storming outside when I took these pics so I was forced indoors.

I've also worn this blouse before with a coral/orange cardigan and camel pants.

Just in case you missed it before, you can also check out 7 work outfits with the hot pink blazer.

 I also have a leopard print blouse for sale in my Poshmark closet. I decided it wasn't too flattering on me, but it would look adorable on someone else.

Hope you have a great week. Linking up here:

Sweater and scarf- two ways

Jacket- thrifted option option
sweater- JCPenney option option
scarf- Target option
pants- Gap
shoes- Sears
worn Jan. 30, 2014

I thought this was the exact same outfit as a couple of weeks ago except for the jacket and shoes, but when I looked at my side by side comparison below, I questioned if these are the same pants. I think they are, but the lighting is different. The scarf and sweater are the same and it's still a good illustration that just changing the jacket and tying the scarf differently can create a totally new outfit. And I'm going to critique myself here too- I think the cut of the pink jacket is more flattering.

7 Work Outfits with a Hot Pink Blazer

Linking up again with Audrey's One Piece, Many Ways. My hot pink blazer is one of my prize thrift store finds. Here are 7 ways I've worn it.

When I saw Penny Pincher Fashion in her peach blazer and peach stripe shirt, I immediately thought of my pink blazer and pink striped shirt. Funny thing is, I've never thought about wearing them together before now and it's so obvious. I don't have white pants or jeans (couldn't wear the jeans to work anyway) so I paired it with khaki dress pants and some wedge shoes.

Pink and orange

Blazer-thrifted; shirt/ necklace- JCPenney;
pants- TJMaxx; shoes- Target
worn July 16, 2013

I have several pink and orange combinations pinned but it took a reminder from this post for me to finally pair my pink blazer with orange. Definitely a bright, citrus, summer look.

Houndstooth flats

Blazer- thrifted; pants- Belk's;
shirt- TJMaxx; shoes- Target
Worn Sept. 28, 2012

I know you're not used to seeing me on Fridays but since I'm a little behind, I thought I'd post today. This is probably the last of the hot pink blazer until spring/summer. I wore it one more time at the end of September with another combination of grey and black, but this time I wore my houndstooth ballet flats. I had fun all day in these shoes.

Pink Blazer again

Blazer- thrifted; shirt- old;
pants- JCPenney; shoes- Belk's
Worn: Sept. 7, 2012

Are you sick of it yet? This pink blazer. I wore it again in a pink, grey, black combo, except this time I switched the grey from top to bottom. I think by now I've gotten my $6.49 out of it.

Another take on the hot pink blazer

Continuing with the pinterest inspired looks... I was determined to get as much wear out of this pink blazer before summer ended as possible.

Here's the look that inspired my version

And yes, I pinned my bangs back again with a DIY vintage button bobby pin.
