Coral, cobalt, mint, chevron and floral!!??? How much more goodness and how many more trends can you pack into one garment? I saw this blouse at TJMaxx a few weeks ago. It pretty much called my name from the rack, but I ignored it and left it there. I kept thinking about it and decided that it would mix with four or five other items in my closet so I went back and purchased it. It was then that I realized that in addition to all my favorite spring colors, this blouse had chevron and florals in the print. Score!

In celebration of spring, I wore this blouse with my coral blazer on Friday. For some reason the lighting is making my blazer look more of a salmon pink color, but trust me, it's coral. And this top is so cute. The top has a keyhole back with ties to tie a little bow at the neckline. I must wear it sometime without a blazer so it can be seen.

I was inspired by this outfit from the Macy's website. The coral and beige combination caught my eye and I decided to add my beige/brown print top to the mix. I was happy with the results and now have one more way to wear my coral blazer.

I've got several coral/mint outfit ideas pinned on my boards, so I've been searching for a mint necklace. I picked this one up the other day at Forever 21. It works for a delicate look, but I think I need something a little bolder with this outfit. Oh well... what's a girl to do? Keep shopping!

I mentioned in my Coral blazer- 4 ways post that I was going to try coral and navy, so here it is. I wanted a pop of mint or turquoise but I don't have the perfect necklace in either, so I went with this one. I did get a compliment on this outfit at work. Don't compliments make you feel good?

Coral blazer - 4 ways

Hello and Happy Monday. Last year, I invested in a coral blazer. Coral is always a popular spring and summer color, and can be carried into fall with the right pieces. Here are four ways I've worn my coral blazer. (I've got other ways in mind- navy, mint- I'm sure I'll come up with more.)

I was so happy for the return of spring and the chance to wear my coral blazer again. I purchased it towards the end of the summer last year, so I'm looking forward to give it a fair share of wear this year. And skirts too. I love the cut of this one. Next to a good pencil skirt, an a-line is a must.

Coral and leopard

Blazer- Forever 21 (similar); blouse- Ross (similar);
pants- JCPenney;
shoes- Payless
Worn Sept 16, 2013

I had a leopard blouse that was uncomfortable to wear so I've replaced it with this one. That was a must. Leopard has quickly become a neutral in my closet, and thanks to pinterest, I want to wear it with every color in the rainbow. I paired it with coral to get a little more wear out of this blazer now that it's fall.

I'm trying to wear and post as many summer styles and colors as possible before fall, especially since I just snatched up some of these pieces at end of summer clearance steals. After I purchased the coral blazer, I had it lying across a white jacket and mint shirt- clothes that needed to be put away. I loved the color combo I was seeing and instantly created an outfit in my mind with a white dress, coral blazer and mint accessories. The only problem was that I didn't have a white dress or mint accessories. I still don't have the mint accessories but found a white dress on clearance at Belk for $15.39. I went with turqouise accessories. I wore this outfit to church and then made the dress  more casual for evening services with the belt, vest and sandals. (This version was inspired by this outfit.)

Coral, black, and grey

Blazer- Forever 21 (similar); Blouse- TJMaxx;
pants- JCPenney; necklace/earrings- Sear's;
shoes- Belk (similar)
Worn Aug. 7, 2013

After lusting for a coral blazer all summer, I took some of my birthday money and purchased one. This is the first outfit I created with it. I pulled this shirt out as a challenge to wear something that has not been worn in a long time. This shirt goes in and out of the donate pile. I like it, but can never really style it well. I don't usually wear shirts untucked at work, so that makes it awkward to wear to work, but I did it anyway this time. I usually forget about this shirt when I'm dressing for church or other activities. I keep telling myself I need white pants or skirt to wear it. What do you think? I like coral with grey, but did the shirt work in this ensemble?
