They haven't been the most popular, over the top item, but you do see them here and there. I think they will always be a classic in some ways. How to interject color in the winter

It seems like we are in full on spring now, so I doubt I will be wearing a blanket scarf any more this season. I'm grateful we did have a few cold days during our winter and I got to wear outfits like this one. I  have my Ann Taylor tee/shell underneath, so the scarf is really the heaviest warmest layer. We have to use tricks like this in the south to layer. If I had worn a sweater, it would have been too much. 

It almost seems too late to share this outfit based on the weather we are having now, but maybe some of you are still having cold weather and you are looking to interject some color into the last of your winter wardrobe. A bright pencil skirt and colorful scarf are perfect ways to do that.
