This month I chose the Pantone Color of the Year Ultra Violet as our theme. I won't say it's my absolute favorite color, as I can take it or leave it, but I thought you might like to see some ways to wear it in your work wear as the color of the year always seems to receive lots of hype.

Four "go to" outfit formulas to get your through the rest of winter- that's a long title. But that's exactly what this is. Winter is wearing on many of you and inspiration may be lacking. You may be tempted to reach for the same sweater and jeans, but these formulas will get you through the last of winter with a little variety.  Many of you have a few weeks of winter left and it's uncertain for the rest of us. The next two days will be in the 80s for us and 70s most of next week here. That has everyone itching to transition to spring. Even if you want to transition to spring, you can still use these formulas by using spring colors.

Winter jewel tones

I like wearing jewel tones in the winter, but have not incorporated them much this season. After seeing some inspiration from Stylin in St. Louise  and hi sugarplum, I decided to it was time to bring them back into my winter attire. 

Pantone Color of the Year- Ultra Violet

Pantone has announced Ultra Violet as the Color of the Year for 2018. Will you be adding this color to your closet? I don't have two many pieces in this color. A couple of close shades in a blazer and a blouse are pretty much it for me, along with this sweater that fits the bill for this color pretty well.
