This outfit was worn the day after the one I posted last Friday during the "warm spell" we had in fall.  I love the pop of color the tank gives this. And I love that simple inexpensive pieces can make a cute outfit.

It was one of those weird days where you suddenly have a heat wave in the middle of the cold. No wait, a cold day in the middle of the heat wave is what's weird here in the South. Anyway, it was a bit warmer this day, so layers and sleeves were not going to cut it, but I could still wear my boots and pretend it was still the fall/winter season.

 

 Maybe strangers thought I was the weird one, with the patterns going on here.

This look was inspired by a Gap look.

 

 

 

 

I changed up the colors a little but I love the relaxed look of a button up, jeans, flats, and a blazer. The problem is I don't totatally love this blazer. I love it on the hanger and it has some great detail, but I don't love it on me. I've decided it works better with jeans than to try and force it to be a "business dress" piece, but I'm still not happy. I think it's the fit I'm not happy with but I'm not sure if I can have it tailored.

Friday I posted a work outfit with a maroon/oxblood color blazer. I took the same blazer and a look I found through pinterest to create a casual look.

When I say old, I mean "purchased ten years or more ago" old. This blazer could fit in the oxblood category but the color is off in the photo so it's looking more like purple. Hmm.  I think you get the idea. It goes with grey. But what doesn't go with grey?

I was inspired by Juggling Chic's rust and navy combo to put this outfit together. I created my outfit with slacks vs jeans for a work outfit. I really love my navy polka dot top and have not began to exhaust the ways I can wear it.
