I didn't go out and buy these pieces just to copy. I saw the outfit and realized I had similar pieces and that they would work together. I love how nude shoes look with this. I can't believe I didn't own nude shoes any sooner than I did.

It still wasn't very cool outside when I wore this, but I was wishing and pushing it with the scarf. I picked up the scarf last year and the other pieces are new for me this year. I plan to have lots of fun creating other outfits with these pieces.

Fall doesn't come until late here but I get to itching to break out the boots and fall clothes before the temperature drops. I compromised and made this dress you've seen all summer a fall outfit by wearing the boots with it. Add some tights and a sweater and I could wear it all winter.

Are you embracing the printed jeans trend this season? For $25 bucks and a great fit, I did. Skinny jeans really aren't made for everyone but these fit and combine two of my favorite things now days- leopard and grey. I went a little further with the boldness and mixed them with stripes. So much fun!

I shared this suit in a post here recently. All you can really do with a suit is change up the shirts and accessories. This is the first time I've worn this mint print blouse with this suit. I like the subtle mix of patterns. What do you think about pinstripes and patterns?

I worn a similar version of this outfit HERE.  It was inspired by this outfit. My original version was not as close, but I got the opportunity to get a deeper coral color fall/winter weight shirt during a shopping trip to Savannah a couple of months ago, so I took the opportunity. I don't shop just to recreate an outfit, but this color coral was still on my wish list. With a sale and gift cards, I snatched it up. I can wear it other ways too.

So I've been lazy today and I'm just now posting even though I had the day off.  Thank you to all the active duty and veterans that make all of our freedoms here possible, even the freedom to be lazy on a day off.

 

With Veteran's Day in mind, it's a little patriotic that I'm posting an outfit with red, white, and blue. The red and white a subtle, but there. I like this fun mix of dots and pinstripes. Conservative navy for work but still fun.
