I saw this shirt in an issue of People Style Watch and fell in love. It was paired with cobalt skinnys and a tuxedo jacket. I can almost recreate the outfit with my cobalt capris, but I was also thrilled that it went with this skirt too.

I had no idea Nine West made clothes ( I was familiar with shoes and purses), but I found these capris by Nine West at TJMaxx. And I love this cobalt color. It was popular in the winter and is still going for summer.

I love the look of vintage dresses. I wore this to a friend's wedding the first of the month. It was purchased on clearance last summer for $25 bucks. I purchased it when I was shopping for my niece's wedding but didn't wear it then becauese I was afraid I would clash with the rest of the family in the photos, but I was in love with the dress so I kept it, and for $25 bucks, why not? Since I was on a vintage kick, I wore some of my (near) vintage bracelets, including a gold coin bracelet. Remember those?

Pantone's color of the year- tangerine tango. I didn't have to shop any further than my closet for it. I picked up this skirt last year. I have lots of outfits planned with it for the summer. This is just the beginning.

DIY no slip clothes hangers

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a fabulous three day weekend.  I think most of us will be outdoors, but if you spend it inside doing some organizing, here is a neat tip for you from In My Own Style.

No slip hangers! Take your regular hangers - wire or plastic and wrap them with pipe cleaners from the craft store! Genius! You know you have those pesky dresses or tops that slide off all the time. This will fix the problem.  Click on the link above to read the whole post and how-to.

I only have two thoughts today as I look at these pics. 1- These are some of the oldest clothes in my closet. 2- By the end of March, I had lost my pretty morning light for photos. By the time I get ready to leave, it's pretty bright and harsh, due to the time change. Evening lighting is much better now- unless of course, I take photos at 6:30 a.m. and that's not happening.
