Some of you are having winter and snow, while we are having a humid 75-80 degree day. Nonetheless, my mind seems to have turned to winter palettes and I've been wearing a lot of burgundy and grey lately. Just beware, you will see a lot of this color in the days to come.

I still have lots of holiday stuff to do so I'm cutting this short. I actually have extra stuff to do since one of hubbys items (gift) arrived opened and loose in the package. GRRR... Now I have to return it and wait on another.

I hope you are having a great week.

I'm sure I've posted something very similar to this on the blog before, so if you recognize it as a repeat, my apologies.  While I do like to show you new ways to wear items, the truth is, I repeat outfits or similar versions all the time. It's life. It is getting out the door on time. I love this jacket and I've worn it a multitude of ways.

I do know for certain you haven't seen this necklace before,  unless you are following me on Instagram. The necklace is new. It's on major sale right now. Long necklaces have become my go to accessories for work attire.

This really has nothing to do with lemonade. It's just what I thought of when I looked at this pale yellow shirt. I guess you could say it's making lemonade out of lemons when you take a hot summer day and manage to look summery and polished in work attire. I'm so sick of coming home and peeling wet clothes off of me after work. I manage in the office, but once the day is over and I make a few stops after work, my clothes are stuck to me. Fall where are you?

Let's talk about earrings for a minute. Whenever I wear a statement necklace, I like to let it have all the attention. So I fall back to simple 14k gold hoops for earrings. I have had mine since I was a teenager, and sadly, the clasps are worn to the point that I  can't fasten a couple of pairs. The ones I'm wearing here still work. Do you have any classic earrings in your collection? Hoops or studs?

Currently I'm watching.... nothing. The Walking Dead is not back on yet. I don't really watch anything else. I went for months once with no cable or TV service of any kind. And I didn't miss it. I think the hubby would miss it now, but not me. When you have TV, you have the news and you have stress because the media is so full of it. What are you watching currently? Any good series I should get into?

The white blazer

The white blazer... It can be worn year round if you wish, but it does so much to lighten up an otherwise dark work outfit for the summer. White just says "summer" and I've been into everything white this season, on and off duty.

It's going to be a busy week, so I'll keep this short and sweet. I've got lots to do.

and grey... I've been wearing a lot of grey again. I hope you are not tired of it. It's a great neutral alternative to black. I came up with this outfit based on an Instagram challenge prompt- sugar and cream. I really don't know that I would have ever put these pieces together otherwise, but I really like the outfit. Speaking of white- how do you keep whites looking good, especially a dry clean item like this blazer? I've taken to throwing it in the washing machine on delicate because dry cleaning doesn't really clean, but the more I wash it, the more the fabric tends to "pill". The neck and sleeve cuffs are disgusting too. I'll be looking to replace it soon, but would love some tips on how to keep up the next white blazer? Or is it just to be accepted that white items will be replaced more often?
