The GYPO Fall Style Challenge kicks off today. This tone on tone look, created with two of fall's hottest colors, blush and marsala, is inspired by the Day 1 prompts. You could do this with two shade of any color and complete it with a scarf and gold flats. You get a shopping list and suggestions when you sign up for these challenges. I had some things in my closet already, like these flats. Mine are gold with a black cap toe so I'm subbing for the gold flats recommended in the shopping list. I also decided to go with an olive satchel purse instead of a burgundy one. I have been looking for a couple of months for a burgundy purse/tote, even before I signed up for the challenge, but later decided that I can overdo it with the burgundy/marsala/oxblood in the fall, so an olive one would be a nice compliment to all this burgundy.

Saturday Shopping- sale finds

Hello friends! I hope you are having a great weekend. I'm off to a slow start because I'm nursing a cold, but it's not bad enough to stop me from doing a little online window shopping.

JCrew is having a 25% off total with code SHOPNOW

Ann Taylor is giving 40% off total purchase with code YESPLEASE

and Loft has 40% off select items, no code needed.

Here are my picks from each:

Denim skirts in a 70's vibe are everywhere this fall and the Loft denim skirt fits the bill.

I have a chambray dress and it's a great piece to throw on and go or use as a blank pallet for adding fall layers and dressing it up with riding boots, a hat, or scarf, or all three.

Cobalt, marsala and leopard in one piece?! Snatch up this JCrew perfect shirt now.

I'm also having a sale in my Poshmark Closet. Purchase two or more items for 50% off the total!

Happy Shopping!

I'll admit that I'm getting tired of my spring capsule. I may call it at the end of the month. I'll also admit that it has made me push my creativity and mixing skills. I would have never come up with this outfit if I were not doing this capsule. I have worn blush and navy before, but not with the addition of a white blazer.

These shoes are another pair that my coworker gave me. Perfect for when I want to wear flats but need the dress of a heel.

Not much to say this morning. This is another take on the dot skirt. This time I paired it with the blush blouse. This skirt goes so well from season to season. I wore it with tights HERE for a winter look.

HERE are three more looks with the skirt and below is a comparison to the very last time I wore it.

If you notice something different here, I changed the blogger template. It seems my home page was not showing correctly. All the widgets were at the bottom instead of the side. Each post page showed correctly but the homepage was all jacked up. Changing the template did not fix it, but I finally found the issue. One post had images that was too wide, so it was pushing everything to the bottom. The weird things blogger does!

I love the pairing of blush and grey. Blush and white is also a great spring and summer color pairing. All of these pieces are in my capsule and should see a fair amount of rotation.

One blazer- three ways

Blazer- sears option
Blouse- Limited option
pants- JCPenney similar option
shoes- TJMaxx similar
earrings- gift option option

I bought this blazer on clearance for $7. The problem is I bought it when I didn't give much thought to purchases other than 1) it's cute and 2) it's cheap. I now try to think of at least three ways I can wear something to justify it's purchase, no matter the cost. I was beginning to think that maybe this piece should be donated or sold and then this outfit inspired me to wear it with this blush blouse (blouse worn here before.)

Below are two other ways I've worn it. I think there's a fourth way but it didn't make it to photos. The next challenge will be to branch outside the same color family.

I love to wear a lady like outfit on Sunday, and this one does it for me. At least it makes me feel ladylike. I wore this to church on Sunday. I purchased this skirt last year on a whim but it's gotten its share of wear.
