When olive jeans were first introduced for spring by a few challenge programs I follow, I'll admit I balked at the idea. I've traditionally thought of olive jeans for fall. And then I thought, well, I won't be wearing my olive jeans (they are pretty thick) because our Spring will be too hot. Then Mother Nature fooled me with a nice cool spring up until this past week, so I've worn my olive jeans a few times. This outfit was inspired by the Get Your Pretty On Spring 2017 Style Challenge- navy top and olive jeans. I didn't follow the shoes called for in the challenge but chose my own. Even though the challenge is officially over, you can still purchase a copy of the challenge. The outfits have pieces that will carry over into the summer, especially if you don't wear shorts. If you are interested in outfits with shorts, the summer challenge will be out later this week.
I'm dipping into the bell sleeve/ruffle trend with this shirt. This is also an off shoulder top that can be worn on or off. Wearing it as shown was more practical for the day's activities the day I wore it. It's a nice lightweight fabric that will be great for summer.
