The slides and mules you need- Saturday shopping

Bow slides and mules have been hot items for footwear this summer. As cute as they are, I still get cracked up everytime I see a blogger on their page or on Instagram in flat bow slides because they make me think of bedroom slippers. And that's what I'd look like in them- Like I was wearing my bedroom slippers. Flat shoes of that type do nothing for my chunky legs and short stature. I need a little more sole and heel to my shoes. So while I won't be jumping on the flat bow slide bandwagon, I could see myself in a pair of mules or maybe these.

TGIF! How can a short work week end up being so long? Hope you had a great Fourth of July. We stayed home and chilled because our dog is terrified of fireworks, thunder, etc. and we had to make sure she stayed safe.
