A high end  Halloween look is easily attainable on a budget. We do a huge Halloween production at our house each year for the neighborhood trick or treaters. It involves lots of props and role players. There is usually a theme each year- zombies, clowns/carnival, etc. Unfortunately, there is often little money left for costumes. Keep reading to find out how I come up with costumes without breaking the bank.

Something I made

shirt- Old Navy; skirt- made by me
shoes- JCPenney
Worn May 30, 2012

I'm sporting a skirt I made myself from a men's dress shirt. It's one of hubby's that he put in the donate pile. I repurposed it for me and actually wore it to church.
