I saw this shirt and cardigan lying together in the laundry pile and it prompted me to put this outfit together. I want to find a better way to accessorize it, but with all these dots, maybe I don't need to worry about accessories?

I've been on a kick this week with stripes. That's okay- LOVE. them. I bought this shirt last year and I think I only wore it once. I finally got around to wearing it this year. I like it so I'm not sure why it doesn't get much attention. I think maybe because I have labeled it "casual" in my mind, but I could throw a blazer over it and wear it to work. I'll have to remedy that and get more wear out of it. 

 

I was thinking of my mustard crossbody purse when I chose these shoes and then I didn't have time to grab the purse. I've got to plan ahead a little better so I can rotate out the purses more often.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I spent most of Saturday cooking. I now have 18 cups of pumpkin in the freezer, along with two complete meals, some browned hamburger meat, and pancakes for breakfast. I hope this saves me a little time later when the holiday rush gets busy.

I searched pinterest for some ideas on wearing brown. I've worn this blouse a couple of ways but was stumped on how to wear it with anything other than brown or black. This and this inspired me to pair it with mustard. I feel like I needed a necklace, but other than that, I was pretty please with this.

I've posted this outfit before, almost identical to the way I'm wearing it now. I do repeat outfits.  I changed the accessories and shoes this time. Sometimes repitition is the easiest way to get out the door.

Is it "gray" or "grey"? You decide. More important to me is that I'm posting a second time this week. And I love this color combination. I bought this blouse last fall. Of course it didn't get enough wear, but it will definitely go back in the rotation this fall.

I copied this look straight from this pin. I had so many plans for these jeans, but didn't get to wear them much. I think they are getting retired for the spring and summer, so maybe in the fall I'll try to get the other outfits together. But I may be buying new jeans by then- I've lost 15 pounds and a whole size, so I doubt they fit well. Baggy clothes are just as frustrating as ones that fit too tight. I'm not complaining about the loss, but I need to do a closet overhaul now. I guess that's a good problem.

I bought myself two bubble necklaces last November- this one and a black one. Oddly, I've worn the black one more than this one, but I love the pop of color. Maybe that's a new challenge- to wear this necklace more.

I searched and searched for a mustard cardigan for almost two years. I love that color for fall. Everytime I would find the right shade, it would be sold out. I finally scored one from Tilly's and wore it for the first time with navy.
