Denim on denim

Shirt- old; jeans- Old Navy;
necklace- gift
Worn March 2, 2012

I'm digging back into the files from last month. I'm a little behind on posting and some outfits have lost their seasonal affect, but denim on denim is "year round" to me. I just don't know why I waited so long to wear this. I saved this shirt from the Goodwill pile and then let it hang for a good while. I'm still considering replacing it with a more updated denim shirt, but it works for now.

The photos don't do much justice to this, but I actually got compliments from random strangers on this outfit. Well, okay, just the waitresses at one of our local restaurants who sees us frequently. Hubby thinks she has a crush on me. I'll still take the compliments.

Inspired again

Cardigan- Old Navy; shirt- Sear's'
jeans- Ann Taylor (thrifted);
shoes- Sears
Worn: Feb. 18, 2012

Although the color scheme is nothing alike, I was inspired by this outfit from Jessica Quirk. I think the cardi and flared jeans caught my attention. This was a comfortable outfit to wear.

jeans- Loft-thrifted; shoes- Payless

Occasionally we have a cold snap that lasts about 24 hours. That was the case weekend before last, so I jumped at the opportunity to wear my thrifted leather jacket with fur collar. I also got that scarf for a Christmas gift and was beginning to think I wasn't going to get a chance to wear it. There really haven't been enough cold days to wear all of my winter wardrobe. But enough about the weather. Aren't flared jeans great? I've worn these several times but haven't managed to get a photo until now.
