Two thoughts

Blazer - Kathy Lee (Walmart); blouse- ?; pants- Old Navy
shoes- Target; necklace- JCPenney
Worn March 28, 2012

I only have two thoughts today as I look at these pics. 1- These are some of the oldest clothes in my closet. 2- By the end of March, I had lost my pretty morning light for photos. By the time I get ready to leave, it's pretty bright and harsh, due to the time change. Evening lighting is much better now- unless of course, I take photos at 6:30 a.m. and that's not happening.

Eager for spring

Sweater- JCPenney; skirt- Old Navy;
tights, necklace, shoes- Target
Worn: March 4, 2012

I was so eager for spring to come when I wore this, yet we were actually having a cold day. I tried out a tip from Jessica Quirk's book What I Wore to add the bright skirt with a dark top and tights when it's still cold in the spring. I loved this outfit. This is one of my favorite skirts anyway and it goes with so many different tops. I'm sure you'll see a lot of it this summer.

Have a great evening.

I'll be linking up tomorrow with WIWW.

Scarf and leggings

Dress- thrifted; leggings- JCPenney;
scarf-Target; boots- Belk;
rhineston bracelet- gift; reptile bangle- thrifted
Worn: October 28, 2011

I picked this dress up at Salvation Army Thrift for 99 cents! I also thrifted the reptile print bangle for $1.00.  The scarf was Target clearance- around $6, I think. This was a fun comfy outfit, which is great no matter what the cost. I think I'll add a shirt with sleeves under this when it's colder, but this was plenty warm with the scarf for the temps we still have here.

Cost breakdown for Dressed on a Dime:
Dress: 99 cents
Leggings: $10
Scarf: $6
Boots:$40 (last year Thanksgiving sale)
Bangle: $1
Total: $57.99- Sounds expensive, but the boots are worth it. (I don't thrift shoes, I just can't go there.)
