The day that I wore this outfit to work, I was greeted first thing that morning by one of my male co-workers with "What's up, Dorothy?" I laughed it off and even said " I wish I could click my heels together and be some where else."
Dorothy-like or not, I love bright shoes with an outfit. I identified a want/need for red ones that I could wear to work and searched quite a bit. I did not want patent. I wanted a certain shade of red, not too orangey. Flats can be too casual, so a little heel was necessary. This little block heel is perfect. It's really the best of both worlds- flats and heels. You will likely see more of these shoes. They were just what I needed to give new life to this old suit you have seen many, many times before.
