I used to own a green sweater. I love the color but not the fit. I missed the color, so when this sweater popped up 50% off with free shipping, I jumped on it. I don't love the fit of most sweaters on me, but this color is so happy, who cares?
I wore this to our Good Friday Service last week. Oh, what a week it has been so let's jump right into Five for Friday.
1. Last Friday's Good Friday service at our new church was amazing! An evening filled with the story of the crucifixion through song, scripture reading and video. It ended with communion. I am reminded of just how unworthy I am, but how much HE loves me!
2. Easter Sunday- We went to the 7 a.m. service. What? I'm getting too old to be up that early on the weekend, but what a blessing it was. We had spontaneous decisions for baptism and salvation at all three services that day. Not planned ahead baptism, just the Holy Spirit moving people into obedience at that moment. Our worship leader and long time friend got to baptize his daughter, so I'm so glad I got up early for that one.
3. We did MAJOR spring cleaning last weekend. We bought a iRobot Roomba 890. We have spent the week watching it map our house and learn it's way around. You might be getting old when that is entertainment, lol. My floors feel so good now. Never that good from sweeping and swiffering alone. We also bought a Bissell Carpet cleaner and cleaned some of our carpets. I say WE but the sweet hubby did most of this work. We also bought a new air purifier. Yep, we spent a chunk of money, but our house smells so much fresher and cleaner.
4. I woke up with the worst stomach virus on Monday morning. I don't wish that on anyone. I missed two days of work this week.
5. I also bought some herbs to plant in pots last weekend but didn't get around to planting them. Maybe this weekend. I have never grown my own fresh herbs. Anyone have any tips?
Hope you have a great weekend!
