Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing how I've worn a pair of shoes for both work and weekends. I typically don't wear the same shoes to work that I wear on the weekends. We are not allowed to wear open toe shoes (some peep toes are allowed) or sandals of any kind to work, so that limits me to pumps, dress flats and maybe dressy booties in the winter. I'm not a "pumps with jeans" kind of girl and during the summer, I'm putting my sandals and open toe shoes to use on the weekends and giving the pumps a break.
I was excited to be able to both dress up and down these faux suede shooties. You can do the same with certain oxfords. Being able to wear these shoes to work actually gives me a little more use from them and a better cost-per-wear.
Let's take a look at the work outfit.

This work look consists of some thrifted pieces and my favorite Loft pants. The skinny ankle pant works great with these shoes. I probably would not wear these shoes with my wider leg trouser pants.
Below is a weekend look I wore during the fall with these shoes. The original post can be found here.
