I love teal and orange for a fall combination. And yes, it's fall and I'm wearing a tank under that lightweight cardigan. I told you we had another hot spell, so this is my fall. It's real fall, not fantasy fall.

Hope your week is going well. We received some sad and disappointing news this week, so we could use your prayers.

Stripes

Blouse- Nordstrom  option  option
pants- JCPenney
shoes- Ann Klein/ Belks (old)  option

This is a very simple outfit but simple is all you need with this much color. I  had a navy blazer with this for a work ceremony that morning but we had a more casual work event that afternoon, so the blazer came off and the sleeves got rolled. I left the blazer off for photos because I really wanted to show off this shirt. I purchased it during the Nsale but had to wait for the temps to drop to wear it because its a little heavier material. (It's sold out now. My pants are on clearance for less than $20!)

Speaking of Nordstrom, have you shopped the fall sale yet? Check out my picks here.

How to dress for fall when it's hot

Tee- Old Navy
boyfriend jeans- Loft  option  option
shoes- Target  option  option   option
bracelet- Alex and Ani  option  option
bag-TJMaxx  option  option
earrings- JCP  option  option

We had some weekend errands to run weekend before last and  the temperatures were back up to HOT. So how do you still feel a little like fall? Grab your loose comfy boyfriend jeans and throw on a fall colored tee.  (Yes, I have the same one in grey and I love it.) To elevate the jeans+tee outfit, add some cute flats and accessories. In this case, I went with leopard flats because leopard reminds me of fall. I don't feel completely dressed when I don't have on some accessory, so I have been reaching for this Alex and Ani bracelet a lot when I want to keep it low key but still have my "fix".

Hope you have a fabulous week!  Please know that I always appreciate your comments. It may take me while to respond or acknowledge them, but I do read them and treasure them.

Red trousers

Trousers- JCP (sold out) ankle pant version
sweater- Loft (old)  option  option
shoes- Ann Klein similar
necklace- JCP  option
earrings- JCP  similar
eyes and cheeks TheBalm Hot Mama

It's the red trousers again. I love having these in my closet. I paired them with this bow sweater. Remember when graphic sweaters, particularly bow sweaters, were all the rage? They are still here and I'm still wearing mine. I think this would make a great holiday outfit.
