Adding some color

Rust and teal seem like such a wild card pairing, but apparently The Limited thought it worked when they added this blouse to their line.

I wore this top with the reverse the first time I wore it- rust blazer and teal pants. This time I'm not using the exact same shades but it works. I almost didn't post this outfit. It seems so out of place at this time of the season. It actually felt out of place when I wore it back in December but we were having warmer temps - temps most of you would have in fall not winter. I was also trying to break out of a grey and burgundy rut, so I challenged myself to wear this top. It also has a hint of cobalt in it so I'm trying to figure out how to pull that off too.  Anyway, I posted it because this blog isn't about perfection. It's what I wear and my journey to find my style. You never know who you may inspire, so here it is. Even if you pin this or file it away for next fall, you may find some inspiration here.

A shout out to new followers too! I've been meaning to do this too over the past month as I've noticed some new followers via Bloglovin'. Thanks so much! Please let me know (new and old followers) what you would like to see in the comments. Would you like me to point out plus size options, petite, tall? I'm just shy of 5'3" and some petite pants work for me, some don't. I'm a "curvy" girl, so curvy fits are usually what works for me but  a lot of what I wear comes in multiple size options. I usually link what I wear or similar.  If it would be helpful to know the other options, let me know. How about price points? I keep it very low budget. I don't really spend a lot for clothes. I wait for sales. I am not the blogger to show you the latest newest arrivals to the stores. All of the pieces above were  purchased 2+ years ago. I couldn't even link up very similar pieces.  My goal is not really to show the latest and greatest, but how to work with the items in your closet. Perhaps you found inspiration for a new color combo today. If so, it's a win for me!
