Happy Labor Day to all my U.S. friends. The hubby and I have spent most of the weekend doing some maintenance on the house and getting prepared for the hurricane season. My heart goes out to Houston and all the others affected by Harvey. We had to evacuate and had some damage from Matthew last year and I don't look forward to a repeat. I'm praying Irma goes away at sea. Nonetheless, we took a trip to our new Sam's Club to stock up on some things Saturday so it was the perfect time to wear this side tie tee I ordered from Loft a few weeks ago. The tied and knotted trend will be big this fall, and this tee is perfect for our hot summers and warm falls. This tee is currently on sale so snag it now. It's nice and soft.

Speaking of sales, did you catch my round up of Labor Day sale picks? I've done some damage this weekend shopping the sales online and getting a few pieces for the GYPO Fall 2017 challenge.  I highly recommend you play along. I've been playing along with these challenges off and on since 2015 and I love them. It's nice to have someone else do the outfit planning for you once in a while. You don't have to buy all the pieces at once. It's fun to see what others have bought and recommend in the Facebook group and them fill in the missing pieces from all the other choices the other challengers bring to the table. Sign up here (you can get a refund up until  the first week if it's not for you!). Don't forget to do your shopping through Ebates to earn cash back.

So, what have I got coming my way? This Caslon bell sleeve top from Nordstrom, a new pair of grey jeans  (also on sale, I'm tired of excessive cuffing). I'm also hoping either this pair or this pair of embroidered jeans work out from JCPenney. I ordered this jacket in gray- it's always too hot for a traditional moto jacket here in the fall, and these velvet shoes. I'll let you know how these work out.

If you need a pair of olive jeans, I've got a pair of Old Navy Rockstar listed in my Poshmark closet
