Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans. I pray we might return to the truths this country was founded on, and that we always remember that our freedom did not come without a price.
I wore this outfit to church Sunday. I'm probably going to hide from the heat and crowds today and stay in, but if you need some outfit inspiration, you can create this number for a variety of activities. Swap shorts for the skirt if shorts are more appropriate.
If you haven't noticed, I have a good little number of things from TJMaxx. This clutch was purchased a couple of years ago, and makes appearances for the Fourth of July, Christmas, and sometimes Valentine's Day. I saw these wedges the other day. I tried to talk myself out of them, and left them in the store the first go around ( as I did with the tassel top at JCPenney). But, I made a return trip just to get out at lunch the other day and see if I could find some things on my wish list- cooler, sleeveless blue/white strip top for work, workout tops, stripe or gingham skirt- and the wedges were still there. So, they came home with me. And of course I had to create a patriotic outfit with them.
