I have not worn this pinstripe suit in a long time. It had gotten a little boring to me and the red dots on the cuffs always throw me off about styling it.

For some reason this floral blouse prompted me to wear this pinstripe suit again. Maybe it's the red flowers in the top that made me think of this blazer. I don't know but I like the results. I've been trying to wear this top more often. It was a 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchase that really didn't see much wear after I bought it. All the hype about this year's sale made me think about what I bought last year and need to be wearing. Some would say I should have purged this suit from my closet given the length of time that it has been since I wore it, but sometimes it's nice to have those things hanging around to revisit and break up the monotony of wearing the same things over and over.
Speaking of repeating things, I have worn these shoes a lot lately too. I really like the way cognac pairs with navy, and it's a much nicer contrast than black.
