There are five key pieces of clothing that will create a chic office look every time. I'm wearing them in the outfit below: a cardigan + printed shell/cami/tank/top+ pencil skirt+ pumps+polished earring.

This outfit has the same elements as the outfit above, plus a necklace. You can add a necklace or leave it off depending on the details of the top. I left it out in this one because of the high ruffled neck.
A pencil skirt and pumps will always speak office chic when paired with the right tops. A cami and cardigan work well to complete the look. ( A graphic tee is fun with a pencil skirt and pumps but doesn't work well in the office.) Finish off a professional look with some polished earrings. They can still be statement earrings but leave the tassels and pom poms for the weekend. And don't kill the look with the rubber fitness band like I did. I finally got some of these belt clip holders for my Garmin Vivo so I can discreetly wear it and still wear my nicer looking watches.
