Summer work wear can be hard to master sometimes. You still need to look polished and professional, but it's too hot for all those layers. I tend to stick to classic pieces, like a pencil skirt and button up, but gravitate to brighter colors as a solution. I've had a similar look pinned to my Pinterest board for several years, and finally got around to wearing this. I'm probably pushing it a little for my conservative office, but it does still fit the dress code. These earrings may have been a little much for the office too, but hey, a girl has to have fun every now and then.

Speaking of summer, I love this blouse but it's a bit thick and long sleeves get really hot, so I'm on the look out for a summer, short or sleeveless version in a blue oxford stripe that's suitable for the office. Suggestions welcome.
