The top photo was my inspiration for this outfit. I don't have a chain necklace, so I substituted my bauble statement necklace. I'd love to have a chain necklace like the inspiration photo.

 

Are you feeeling the Christmas crunch? I sure am. I don't know how many posts I'll get out in the next two weeks, so if you don't see much of me, I sure hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Grey is my new neutral. I have been pairing it with all colors, but I would have not thought of rust had it not been for this post by Extra Petite. I went with a brown belt and shoes, but love the look of her nude shoes.

Let's just go ahead and say these photos are horrible. The lighting is terrible. And the color is off. But you can still get the point.

 

Winter never seems to come here and never stays long so dressing can be difficult. What to do? Take a summer dress (seen here) and add a jacket. Done. When it gets hot in the afternoon, take off the jacket.

I have had this shirt for many years and it has been in and out of the donate pile. I will decide to get rid of it and then take it back. But I still haven't worn it much in the last year so I think it's going this time. It's a little heavy and I've replaced it with a lighter weight chambray shirt.

 

Notice the sleeve. I tried out this tip on how to roll the sleeve and still show the cuff.

It had been a while since I wore this suit. I've worn skirts along and along some, but not the matchy, matchy suit. I think the necklace adds a little fun to it.

Hello, I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and a nice long weekend. Did you get any Black Friday deals? I stayed in and worked on the decorations.

 

When I get a mental block on how to remix my closet, I go to my pinterest style board for inspiration. My look above was inspired by the look below that I found through pinterest. It's not identical but similar. Where do you look for inspiration?
