Pattern mixing comes down to two things- colors and complimentary patterns. If you stay in the same color family, especially for a more conservative work environment, it will be easier to mix patterns. Next, find one small pattern and one larger pattern. The plaid here is very subtle and the stripes are bolder. Because both are navy, it works out well. No one even batted an eye or raised an eyebrow at this even in my conservative office. Of course, by now, they are probably used to me going a little outside the norm, and they know better than to even question me, lol.

Hope you had a great weekend and have a productive week. We lost an hour, but we get more daylight for blog photos in the evenings, so I'll take it.
