Best of 2016
Hello everyone! Are you looking forward to a New Year? We sure are. But before I move ahead, I wanted to show you top 10 most viewed posts on Savvy Southern Chic. These are not necessarily my favorites, but based on views, these are yours.
10. Camel and Navy I pair a lot with navy, but camel and navy is a great combo.

Easy summer style
necklace- House of Harlow 1960
lips- Smashbox primrose
I love an easy, comfortable summer outfit. Let's be real, who wants to fuss with clothing in the heat? The last time I wore this top, I paired it with wide leg pants. This time I paired it with this chambray pull on skirt (red version here). This is such a comfy skirt. I should have worn it more this summer. Maybe I could pair it with a plaid shirt and booties for fall. What do you think?
This necklace was in my Rocksbox. Try out the service for a month free with code FONDABFF.

Apologies in advance
Shirt- Nordstrom
I was so tired when I took these pictures and it really shows. Also this hair is why I got a cut (yet to be revealed). It's all over the place. #windblown So apologies in advance. I've also been wearing these sandals on repeat a lot. #sorrynotsorry They are favorites.
Aside from the tired expressions and messy hair, this has the potential to be a very cute outfit. It was Pinterest inspired. Do you pair stripes and camo?

Neon maxi skirt
Vest- Old Navy option
necklace- made by me option
Hello! Happy hump day! I've pulled out this thrifted silk maxi skirt for its yearly appearance. I really do like it and should wear it more, but I'm just getting around to it. I wore it last year here, a little more dressed up. I decided to dress down this time with a denim vest and play with color with the jewelry.
Do you have those occasional wear pieces that you just can't let go of?

Back to business
Blazer- Limited
You last saw this tank here in a casual outfit. I've taken it to the office by layering it under a blazer. Here's a side by side look at the casual vs work outfits.
What pieces do you take from casual to work?

Back to summer
What I don't have time for is wrinkles. I'm in need of a good eye cream. Any suggestions? I have a bad habit of not wearing my sunglasses, but I really need to start. Even those quick trips in and out at lunch cause me to squint and I know that's just adding to the wrinkles. So back to eye cream. I've always been a drugstore brand girl for everything and I can't quite bring myself to spend what some of the higher end creams cost, but I'm looking for something that works better than what I currently use. Do they really work? I'd like to know your thoughts and experiences.
I've read some good things about Kiehls with avocado and about La Mer, (but I'm not forking out $200 for eye cream) Strivectin rated well and so did Dermalogica age smart and Dermalogica Total eye care. Have you tried any of these?
