I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of this suit. I love it's lightweight material and color. It makes summer more bearable. There is no limit to the way you can wear it, but this time I've paired it with a contrasting black and white graphic print top. I'm getting back into my bracelets again, and in particular, stacks or arm parties. I think it's Instagram's influence. I see so many pretty bracelet stacks on there. You just have to be careful with the size and type of bracelets if you want to pull off this trend in the business world.

Currently I'm... scrapping my wedding reception photos from 2005! Whew! 2005 was a whirlwind year of weddings, graduation, job changes, moves, and natural disasters for my family and I'm just now getting all of it into a scrapbook. When I finish this little album, 2005 will be finished and properly documented. Do you scrapbook?

Black and white week recap

Here's a recap of last week's black and white posts. If you get bored or overwhelmed with deciding what to wear, just go black and white. Choose plenty of patterns and textures and it won't get boring.

Black and white grid

This is the last of the black and white outfits. I've paired lots of bright colored tops with this skirt before, and even a black sweater, but this is a first for the black utility top. Leopard heels break up the boredom a little.

I hope you have enjoyed black and white week. Would you try an every day wardrobe of just black and white?

Black and White Gingham

I began to get a little bored with just black and white outfits, so I used a black and white base of a gingham shirt and black pants and added a little bit of color with mustard flats. Leopard is another neutral but adds a fun pattern. The khaki blazer helped keep this more in line with business attire. And yes, you have seen this Stella and Dot necklace a lot. I have worn it a lot since I purchased it and love how it breaks down to make multiple necklaces.

I've gotten a lot of wear out of these white pants during this capsule. And I'm not going to stop wearing them when it's over. Speaking of ending, I'm going to stop this capsule at the end of this month. I know  I could make another three weeks worth of outfits, but I am so bored with this. I feel like they are just becoming a switch of a bottom or a switch of a top and not really a different outfit. Sometimes a simple switch of a piece is all it takes, but sometimes it's really boring. But there's always striped shoes to combat boredom!

I finally got around to wearing the hot pink pencil skirt I put in my spring capsule. I can't believe how quickly a month went by! It's already May now and summer will be quickly approaching.  I guess this has become another little outfit formula for me- black/ white on top + a colorful bottom. You could use this with pants, casual shorts outfits, or any style of outfit.
Do you see the cute little peep toe pumps? A co-worker gave them to me! We wear the same size shoe and she brought me 7 pairs of shoes that she cannot wear because she really needs a narrow shoes and once she wears a pair twice she decides she can't wear them. Free shoes?! Yes please.

I last wore this top with black pants and a colorful blazer:
