The easiest way to wear colored shoes to work is to stick with a neutral palette and add a pop of color with your shoes. You can even bring in a slight bit more of the color with an accessory like I did with this necklace. I have been reaching for this necklace and these shoes often lately. Sometimes things hang in the closet and then become new found loves. That's okay. It's like going shopping, but no money is spent.

Speaking of shopping, are you ready for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? You know, the one where they put deep discounts on new fall merchandise. If you are a card holder, you can start shopping tomorrow. Apply here to get a card and get the best picks.

Lots of people like to stock up on fall items like boots and sweaters during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I find that it's a good time to add a few pieces to my work wear too. Pleione usually has some great tops in the sale that are good for work wear, and there will be some great pencil skirts on sale.
