Don't mind me. I'm just swingin' by in this easy, breezy swing shirt dress from Old Navy. I couldn't find the olive online so I linked the black one. The olive is available in the store. I tend to not like the way swing dresses look on me. I'm not crazy about the look of this one and I considered the tie waist midi dress in the store for more shape, but that would have been too long for me. This outfit would be super cute recreated with a romper too. Olive makes a great base for bright summer accessories.

I do like the material of this dress vs the way knit swing dresses fit me, and it has POCKETS. It is super comfortable and the perfect dress for staying cool on vacation. It would be easy to throw on over your swimsuit at the beach or pool. It is almost too comfortable. I felt like I was walking around in my night gown, but slip shorts keep me from feeling like I'm going to flash someone. This length is pretty good too and it stays put if I have to raise my arms. (You know those dresses that are suddenly was too short if you move or raise your arms- yeah, I just don't bother. I don't have time to be a statue.)

These shoes are pretty comfortable too. They are available at several retailers. If you are interested, shop around for the best sale/shipping deal.

If you have ever considered wearing a hat, but are too shy, I recommend starting with a small fedora like this one and the ones I've linked up. This was my first hat purchase a few years ago. I wore it on vacation and was  hooked.

Old Navy has their wide leg linen pants back again this year, like the ones I bought last year. They have the soft pants too, similar to these (seen here too) . These were my favorite two pairs of pants. Next to loose shorts and dresses like this one, I could live in these all summer.

Hope you are having a great week. I tried to schedule a few posts ahead of time and yesterday's ended up live on Saturday. Oops. Maybe I'm getting this one up on the correct date.
